Stefan,
in the precommit-Script your working directory is a local sandbox on the
server. You can open CVS/Entries, search for the file and get the last field
from the line which perhaps contains a Txxx_branch.

Betreff: Question about commitinfo - branch information
Hi,
I' m running a pre-commit checking program specified in the commitinfo file.
This is working fine up till now. From now on I need the information in this
file if the commit takes place on a tag branch or on the main trunk. Is it
possible to retrieve the info which is stored in the local copies Tag file
(e.g. CVS/Tag: Tdevelop1000; I need the "develop1000" information in the
checking program) somehow in the commitinfo?
Thanks in advance
