One has to wonder why you're using a version control system at all when you
can consider doing things like this.
Anyway, you can do something like this:
cvs rtag -D "11/15" PreScruUp module
cvs rtag -D "now" PostScruUp module
cvs co -d foo module
cvs up -j PostScruUp -j PreScruUp foo
cvs ci foo
