It is because of the sticky tag.
cvs status will show the latest revision in the tag or
branch from which your working directory has been
checked out from, as the 'repository revision'.
Due to the sticky tag,CVS 'thinks' this revision is
the head of the trunk.Even subsequent cvs update will
not retrieve the latest revision.
