Ignoring files |

Hello,
I have a question regarding ignoring files for check-in, update, etc.
Some files that I always want to ignore can be put in
$CVSROOT/CVSROOT/cvsignore, but I have also some files that are unwanted
in one directory and wanted in another. I have seen that a file called
.cvsignore can be placed in a directory which can contain the spec for
the (extra) files that must be ignored (see C.5 in Cederqvist) for that
directory.
Is it possible to put this file also in CVS (so doing a cvs add .cvsignore
for that directory)?
Kind regards,
Aad Rijnberg
