Try adding (exported of course):
CVS_SERVER=/usr/local/bin/cvs
> address@hidden phil $ ssh address@hidden printenv | grep ^PATH
> PATH=/usr/bin:/etc:/usr/sbin:/usr/ucb:/usr/bin/X11:/sbin:/usr/local/bin
The "ssh" that CVS does won't necessarily run your .profile (or
whatever), so /usr/local/bin might not be in its path, even
though it's in yours.

My Wine works. However it crashes about half the time on startup.
Apparently their simulation of windoze API is getting too accurate. :)
