Hello,
I defined some patterns in CVSROOT/cvsignore like this:
! *~ %%* sess_*
When I try to do a
cvs -d :ext:address@hidden:/var/cvsroot import -m test test vendor start
not only my defined files in cvsignore but also many others are ignored.
All other cvsignore options left blank (.cvsignore in home folder;
$CVSIGNORE; -I and .cvsignore in import directory and subfolders)!!!
When I try to import a module local on the server, CVSROOT/cvsignore
works as expected.
Is it because I am using :ext: via ssh?
I have tested this on another server and it was the same behaviour. My
cvs is version 1.11.17 on all machines.
