I would recommend that the OP try http://www.tortoisecvs.org instead
of WinCVS. In my opinion WinCVS is more complicated than the
command-line interface! TortoiseCVS has reduced functionality but
also has a much shallower learning curve.
I would also recommend
1) learning CVS independently of Eclipse;
2) finding a better forum than this place for
the inevitable Eclipse questions. We
just don't have the expertise here.
