I do not believe that any recent version of CVS has been compiled on
OpenVMS. That said, if you have compilers for the box, there should be
nothing that prohibits you from building it yourself from sources.
1) Download the sources:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/source/stable/1.11.22/cvs-1.11.22.zip
or
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/source/stable/1.11.22/cvs-1.11.22.tar.gz
2) Unpack them using either unzip or a recent version of tar that
understands how to do gunzip.
3) Read the README.VMS file. The script build.com in the top-level
directory should let you build the various things. If you run into
problems building cvs, send e-mail to address@hidden and someone
will try to help you out.
