Subject: [Info-gnu-radius] Radius 0.96 released

GNU Radius 0.96 has been released. It is available from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/radius/ and mirrors of that site (see list of
mirror sites at http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html).

The package was tested on several platforms (see doc/MACHINES for
the list).

Major changes in this version:

     - The server can be configured to listen on multiple interfaces/ports.
     - User passwords and shared keys of arbitrary length are allowed.
     - raddb/naslist can contain default entry. This is useful for sites
serving a big number of terminal servers.
     - Empty realms are supported.
     - The value of a reply attribute-value pair can be computed at
       authentication time.
     - Guile support allows to extend the functionality of the server.
User-supplied Scheme procedures can be called when processing
requests, thus allowing to create site-specific authentication or
       accounting schemes.
     - Both check and reply attribute-value pairs can be retrieved from
       SQL database.
     - ODBC support is added.
     - Client sub-package contains a PAM module for authentication via
       RADIUS.
     - A template for creating authentication and accounting database
       is supplied in the distribution.
     - Test suite is available.
