This is not a Gnus question, per se, but....
For a long time I have used Gnus for mail and I set it up to do nnmail
for the backend. I love it in part due to the speed, but I
occassionally need to get to my mail from the web. Most of the time I
am local. Sometimes, I am remote but have ssh access. Sometimes, not
very often, just enough to make it a pain, I am remote with only web
access.
I've been playing with squirrelmail and have it working for imap.
Since this is how my wife normally does her e-mail, she's a happy
camper. But I'm not :-( For e-mail lists, I typically only keep a
short history, but for some groups, I have a much longer history
(e.g., the e-mail record of client correspondence). Those folders can
become large enough that imap is a pain for normal use. Maybe I'm
just too demanding :-). So....
Does anyone know of a web-based e-mail program that can handle Gnus'
nnmail format?
regards,
roland
