Truncation of blank spaces in Terminal Console

It is found that the Terminal Console of Linux Workstation 3.0
considers all the blank spaces at the end of any line to a single
space, irrespective of the number of blanks, which creates mismatch in
the string length, when we try to copy any Data from terminal console.
This is happening at the end of every line of the output where there is
two or more blank spaces. Is any one aware of any setting/workaround
which needs to be done so that the terminal console identifies the
number of blank spaces correctly?
