Binary RPMs, sufficient to set up a basic working GNUstep system under
SuSE 9.1 or SuSE 9.3, are now available for download. The packages
comprise the 4 core GNUstep libraries, the GWorkspace file manager and
the Gorm user interface builder (for developers). The ViewPDF
application is not included this time.

These are built from the latest GNUstep sources available on general
release, and incorporate enhancements and bug-fixes over previous
versions.

There are no SuSE 9.2 versions included; the 9.1 or 9.3 versions
/might/ work under 9.2 but I haven't tested this.

Both sets of packages have been built to use the libart backend, which
supports anti-aliased text. The SuSE 9.3 versions were built against
cairo and glitz, but the SuSE 9.1 packages were not because these
libraries are not included in SuSE 9.1.

For SuSE 9.1, download from:

note that there is a README file at
<URL:http://www.rstonehouse.co.uk/extras/gnustep-1.10/SuSE_9.1/README.suse91>

For SuSE 9.3, download from:
<URL:http://www.rstonehouse.co.uk/extras/gnustep-1.10/SuSE_9.3/> and
note that there is a README file at
<URL:http://www.rstonehouse.co.uk/extras/gnustep-1.10/SuSE_9.3/README.suse93>

Please note that, if you go to either site using a web browser, the
README files do not appear in the Index listing displayed by the
browser, but they are actually there.
