Mtools 3.9.10 is released, and can currently be found at the following
places:

http://www.tux.org/pub/knaff/mtools
http://mtools.linux.lu/mtools

and soon at:

ftp://ibiblio.unc.edu/pub/Linux/utils/disk-management/mtools-3.9.10.tar.gz

The md5sums are:

19bc1f06e9c5865b8ad20b1ddd976f5f mtools-3.9.10.tar.gz
8f35d65fd2749bc29ea7809f4db5151c mtools-3.9.10-1.i586.rpm

This is mostly a maintainance release which packages the patches of
the last two years. It fixes a couple of bugs in the following areas:
  - Stability (long directory entries, FAT integrity, memory leaks etc.)
  - Floppyd (better locking algorithm, support for multiple drives)
  - CYGWIN compatibility (supply O_BINARY flag)
  - XDF fixes
