As far as I know, it is not necessary to use jailkit in order to jail FTP/FTPS users, since the FTP daemon (I mean, vsftpd, which is the one I use) has the option to chroot the users to their home folder.

Tip: If your FTP server is behind a router/gateway, don't forget to set up in vsftpd.conf the following options:

pasv_addr_resolve=YES
pasv_address=your.public.adress.or.dns
