Hi,

I have some experience for this message. What I had done is,

modtex stop <----- stop current process

modtex-debug start <----- start debug version

edit Wiki and save it

check system log file (/var/log/messages for my Fedora) and I found
such message

Feb 6 23:00:06 localhost modtex-latex[2333]: [Errno 2] No such file
or directory: '/usr/local/var/modtex/latex'

If you get same message, then may be you should change the setting in
local.py of your modtex source tree.
