There is a typo in the notes for installing Net::Z3950 on Red Hat.  Paul Gear
had written that you need to install the line:
  'DEFINES'  =>  '-D_GNU_SOURCE',
but it should be 'DEFINE' instead of 'DEFINES."

Also note that some installations of Perl on Red Hat will generate a lot of
"'my_perl' undeclared" errors when running make in Net-Z3950.  This is fixed by
inserting the following line in yazwrap/ywpriv.h :
   #include "XSUB.h"
