I just compiled Hazelnut (fresh from CVS) with
gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) [FreeBSD]
without any problems.
idl4 compiled okay, but there seems to be a (small)
bug when compiling chacmos (probably a paths problem;
didn't investigate it yet).
Yes, you're right: gcc-2.95.4+ up to gcc-3.0.3 are corrupt :(
