Well, --disable-examples exists since 0.9.35, and while the ChangeLog
doesn't tell me when, the example build issue with epoll() has also been
fixed since.
Please do check if your issue is present in the latest release before
reporting -- in this case, reading the ChangeLog should have been
sufficient.
