I am trying to install debian 8 on my x60 laptop running libreboot. For some reason, the boot-loader on the machine is not booting the debian usb drive.
To fix this, I tried to manually boot using grub's rescue prompt, but it just drops me into a busybox shell.
Here are the steps I followed .
set root = (usb0,msdos1)
linux /live/vmlinuz1
initrd /live/initrid1.img
boot
I would appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction.
