[Libreboot] Libreboot on Sandy/Ivy Bridge platforms possible?

I've just found an article:

It says there's a tool leaked out from Intel that can modify the ME firmware. 
If so, we can write a free ME firmware for Sandy/Ivy machines, then libreboot 
will be possible.

What do you think about it?
