I ran 'MAKE=gmake gmake check' against MLB and all 92 tests passed
under Solaris 2.6/SPARC with:
$ cc -V
cc: Sun WorkShop 6 update 1 C 5.2 2000/09/11
I also ran all tests successfully under Solaris 2.5.1/SPARC with:
$ cc -V
cc: WorkShop Compilers 5.0 98/12/15 C 5.0
