Okay, I guess I can look at the release blockers. It does bug me
that there are too many loops over deplibs, I'm convinced that
many of them are not necessary :/

But if at all possible, can we just not branch now?  One lesson of
the branch-2-0 disaster is that we do not have enough manpower to maintain three branches _and_ get 2.0 done at the same time. New
tests are certainly good, though.

Goodness me, I was in no way suggesting a branch! Trying to look at ltoptions now, but I bet that I get beaten to the fix.
