FWIW, the way you M4-quote isn't the way Eric suggested, yours is merely
inconsistent. Maximal quoting doesn't end at function boundaries, it
ends at M4 active text, i.e., macro calls or macro arguments' beginning
or end.

Oh, can you also do inline patch posts so I can quote easily what I
reply to? The patch is ok, but the ChangeLog entry is missing half
the changes.
FWIW, you may want to consider using vc-chlog to write your ChangeLog
entries: <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.gnulib.bugs/7797>.
