By the way, I see that --with-tags is exposed as an option to my
package's configure script since it uses libtool 1.5. The
presentation of this option is meaningless in the context of a package
configure script:
--with-tags[=TAGS]
include additional configurations [automatic]
There is no indication that this option pertains to libtool (I
question the notion that a package user should have any business
knowing that libtool is used, or even exists), or what a "tag" is.
