Sounds fine to me.
IIRC, I introduced the L* files because I couldn't figure out how else
to get automake to do the right thing, but I'm sure there must be a
better way to do this. The extra files do cause a lot of annoying
clutter.

built via makefile rules.
(2) Reorganize the dwarf code such that more of the code
is shared. In particular, the missed initialization
bug fixed yesterday shouldn't have been able to happen.
I'll be working on this shortly, as well as adding support
for a good many more targets.
