Hi,
Couldn't there be a \relative entry mode for rythms too
(as in ABC) :
\note \sequential \relative c''' \relative 8 {
[a b c a b c] g2 [a b c a b c] g2 \bar "|."
}
Where all the notes, except the two "g", are 1/8 notes.
The two others are 1/4 notes (1/8 * 2). Or in another way
instead of using a relative rythm mode, using a default
one :
\note \sequential \relative c''' \relative 8 {
[a b c a b c] g4 [a b c a b c] g4 \bar "|."
}
Any note without explicit rythm is a 1/8 note, the rest
is normal, meaning 4 is for 1/4, 2 is for 1/2, etc.
