Trying to "make web-doc" for Mandrake rpms

After installing an update for ghostscript (which was missing pnggray
support) in Mandrake 9.1. I almost could make rpms for Mandrake. The
latest rpms form Mdk 9.1 are compiled for version 1.7.14, which are rather
old. BTW, flex-2.5.4, which was shipped with Mdk, compiled fine.

This is the trace from compiling:

/usr/bin/texi2dvi: tex exited with bad status, quitting.
/usr/bin/texi2dvi: see lilypond.log for errors.
make[3]: *** [out-www/lilypond.dvi] Error 1
rm out-www/music-glossary.texi
make[3]: Leaving directory
`/home/hjunes/rpm/BUILD/lilypond-1.7.20/Documentation/user'
make[2]: *** [WWW] Error 2
rm out-www/index.texi
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/home/hjunes/rpm/BUILD/lilypond-1.7.20/Documentation'
make[1]: *** [web-doc] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/hjunes/rpm/BUILD/lilypond-1.7.20'
error: Bad exit status from /home/hjunes/rpm/tmp/rpm-tmp.98483 (%build)

RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /home/hjunes/rpm/tmp/rpm-tmp.98483 (%build)
    make: *** [rpm-mandrake] Error 1

Looks like it is result of "make web-doc". However, if one types several
times "make web-doc", the error will change in place and finally
everything is compiled. But, everything should be compiled at first
place. It is a bit puzzling.

Cheers,

  Heikki
