According to http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/resources/links/, lilypond
will compile with distcc. However I cannot make that work - autogen.sh
gives this error:
"ERROR: Please install required programs: distcc >= 4.0 (installed: 2.18.3)
GUILE-with-rational-bugfix mftrace fontforge
See INSTALL.txt for more information on how to build LilyPond"
Clearly that is wrong: according to http://distcc.samba.org/download.html,
2.18.3
is the latest version of distcc, there is no version 4.0
