Please use lilypond-devel list for compilation issues.  This problem has
already been reported with a slightly different fontforge version: see
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2007-05/msg00065.html
and also other messages of the thread.  I've just applied the patch
mentioned in that message to the stable branch -- Han-Wen, have you
planned a 2.10 release soon?
