Yes, respectively identical. Only tells about Bold and Italic, right?
Now I've deleted the 4 fonts from ~\.fonts, the output says

checking New Century Schoolbook PFB files...
/usr/share/fonts/type1/gsfonts/c059016l.pfb
/usr/share/fonts/type1/gsfonts/c059036l.pfb
/usr/share/fonts/type1/gsfonts/c059033l.pfb
/usr/share/fonts/type1/gsfonts/c059013l.pfb

and make is successful.
