Barely.  ;-)

As a side note, I eventually want to get rid of the SVG font embedding
altogether, and convert the glyphs to paths on-the-fly.  Then we
wouldn't need the font installation instructions at all.

If this happens, the size of the example SVG I posted at the top of
the thread would be reduced to about 4KB in size (instead of 158KB).
