I've never seen any proof of this situation. I tried to make sure make
doesn't call simultaneous lilypond-book instances, and AFAIK it has
worked so far. On the contrary, the following clearly shows a wrong
situation:
$ grep dabb3c4a out/lybook-db/snippet-names-*
out/lybook-db/snippet-names-2514634535468381946.ly:85/lily-dabb3c4a.ly
out/lybook-db/snippet-names-2514634535468381946.ly:85/lily-dabb3c4a.ly
