Hello,

{ b8 } \addlyrics { oo~ee }
is a common case that suddenly (?) shows a wrongly far away text
ligature. Even strager is, lilypond-book images from this on a latex
document look OK instead.
UPDATE: PDF on evince is right, only jPeDal of jEdit seems to be confused.
