Yeah, in the last version I also rewrote email addresses in tarball,
cvs and git eras, but I wonder if that's any help; it possibly
looks even more artificial, esp. now we have .mailmap.
So I'm thinking of reverting that and leave email addresses alone for
all commits, what do you think?
