Are there any changes that result in collisions?  The gamble with 
making smaller pure-height estimations was that it would result in 
snugger spacing whilst avoiding collisions.  I didn't see any badness 
when I made the original change, but the pixel comparator sometimes 
reveals things that I miss in the regtest comparisons.
