Subject: error with make test-base-line

Hi,

I tried to investigate why patchy complains about my patch: Issue
6397043: parenthesizeStencil and bracketifyStencil
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2646#c2

I decided to start from scratch i.e
`Amend previous commit' and `Abort changes -- Reset to origin'
Then `Update source' and new compiling, running `make' in /lilypond-git/build.

Then I wanted to continue with regtest comparison as described in CG 9.4
But `make test-baseline' resulted in an error:
The log ends:

Please check the logfile collated-files.texilog.log for errors

make[3]: *** [out-test/collated-files.html] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/harm/lilypond-git/build/input/regression'
make[2]: *** [local-test] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/harm/lilypond-git/build/input/regression'
make[1]: *** [test] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/harm/lilypond-git/build'
make: *** [test-baseline-create] Error 2
address@hidden ~/lilypond-git/build (dev/local_working)$

The file
/lilypond-git/build/input/regression/collated-files.texilog.log
shows:

*** Can't find parenthesize-markup.texidoc, skipping (l. 26421)
Max error number exceeded

I had done `make test-baseline' before without a problem, but now it
does not work.
What's wrong and what should I do?

-Harm

When you're starting from scratch with a build, it's often worth _really_ starting from scratch. make doc-clean; make log-clean; make clean will get you most of the way there, but to be really sure, delete your build directory and set it up again, as in http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.15/Documentation/contributor/running-_002e_002fautogen_002esh

Shout if you still get compile errors.
