You could just run update-with-convert-ly on a version of master with
VERSION (probably manually reset, but not committing) to be still at
2.17.0 to avoid getting your own changeset in, reset VERSION and commit
the resulting changes, then commit your changes, rerun
update-with-convert-ly, commit again.
