Hi,
i'm resurrecting Busy Developer's summaries, which are intended to
keep busy developers informed about status of development without
having to read whole -devel.
We're currently thinking hard about how to make a stable release
(http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2013-04/msg00078.html).
The problem is that we have several "destabilizing" patches (some of
them already pushed, some still waiting), and it's hard to predict how
fast critical issues will be solved, as there was little interest in
them recently (see a list here
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/list?can=2&q=type=Critical).
Help with solving Criticals is most welcome. In particular,
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=3179 is currently
re-reviewed, and some people have already started investigating
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=3289
i hope that this helps you,
Janek
