I mean, mid-measure.  I think.  In German, we have "Taktstriche" and
"Takte", and those are strictly separate entities.

While there is the strange exception that _dancers_ call _beats_ "Takte"
while musicians call them "Schläge".  Makes me want to beat the dancers.
Of course, it's not even really beats.  "Slowfox hat meist einen langen
und zwei kurze Takte".  Learn some music, folks.
