"make all" builds a toy version of the Info documents without included
images. That at least guarantees proper Texinfo syntax (according to at
least one Texinfo processor) in the English documentation (naturally not
for contained @address@hidden lilypond fragments). When followed by
"make install", it will also install those toy Info documents.

It has to be noted that Emacs is the only Info reader actually being
able to deal with the full Info documents and does so fantastically and
much better than when reading the same information with an HTML browser.
But that's the only one.

The standalone Info reader at least omits images gracefully, but the
GNOME help browser "Yelp"'s perfunctory image support for Info does more
harm than good since it keeps Yelp from even opening when called on
LilyPond documentation.
