I suspect that when a word in the lyrics text starts with a backslash then
lilypond will try to expand it as if were a previously defined lily macro.
When I enclose the word in double quotes, like:
A tél, a nyár, az "\H{o}sz," a fes- l\H{o} ta- vasz,
then it compiles for me and to me the result looks like a beautiful
Hungarian song. The \H{o} translates on my box into an o with a tilted
'Umlaut' as the Germans would call it.
