Well, scm_make_gsubr should be in guile-1.4.  Did you adjust your
library load path to look for guile 1.4 first?  (Hint: see what ldd
lilypond says.)

Also, did you added an extra # sign?  LilyPond wants a string here,
not a SCM object.
