Hi. Sorry about the figured bass question, I found this from the
mailinglists. (thanks for the hack, btw :) ) But, I'm compiling up 1.5.28
on FreeBSD 4.5-RC, and even though I've got Python 2.1.1 installed, I get:
checking for python2.1/Python.h... no
checking for python2.0/Python.h... no
checking for python2/Python.h... no
checking for python/Python.h... no
checking for python1.5/Python.h... no
checking for Python.h... no
I've set prefix to /usr/local and a quick locate gives me
/usr/local/include/python2.1/Python.h
Anyone have an idea? config.log gives me:
configure:3509: checking for python2.1/Python.h
configure:3519: g++ -E conftest.C >/dev/null 2>conftest.out
configure:3515: python2.1/Python.h: No such file or directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 3514 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
#include <python2.1/Python.h>
That it sees Python as non-present presents me with two problems: gmake
install fails, and I'd like to have the option of using MIDI-files.
Cheers
Nik
