Need help compiling Noteedit 1.17.1

When I try to compile Noteedit 1.17.1 on my LFS-linux-system(kernel 2.4.17) 
I get the following error:

The file "grammar.yy" is in the noteedit directory.
I have bison installed on my system.

Please help - want to write music soon!
