I don't know what version of ps2pdf is in the cygwin distribution, but
if it's related to a ghostscript between 6.5 and 7.0, I'd say wait
until they have 7.3. I've spent a lot of time this week struggling
with ps2pdf and its relatives, and I assume the windows version has
the same problems the linux version does. (Thanks to Mats for
checking out the version numbers.)
