Ok. I'm kind of flabbergasted, because all-visible is defined in
scm/basic-properties.scm -- maybe you can try adding print statements
to the files SCM to check if they are loaded properly?

(eg.

         (display "Here!\n")

will print

     Here!

when loaded.)
