Too bad you just snipped off the part that shows which libraries get
used.

It looks like you're c++ development setup is broken. Have you tested
compiling a simple c++ program that uses stream io, such as
hello-world.cc?
You may try adding -lstdc++ to USER_LDFLAGS in config.make and see if
that fixes your setup.
