Persistent font problems

Does this happen on the Xdvi screen or in the PS? What happens if you
try ly2dvi --pdf and view the result with gv ?

(It looks as if someone is dropping half of the lines of the font,
causing the glyphs to be half as high as normal. I suspect Xdvi.)
