Hello,
1) I still don't get it. I thought that the "snippet" is to be
included in an
html file, and that its purpose is to produce an image seen in a
browser.
That is what the example in the manual implies. All it seems to do is
display
in the broswer window the exact same characters. The manual on the
other hand
shows an image.
My html code is:

and it works perfectly allright over here:
2) Is your command below intended to be entered on a command line on
a Unix
system? If I do that I get:
M-: Command not found.
Lilypond-book is confused by --outname on multiple files
