The markup for R is automatically centered. I'm trying to figure out how
to left-justify (or un-center) it. Example:
R1^\markup { \roman \column << "I" "II" >> }
The text appears centered in the measure instead of left-justified.

Yep, that works great for multiple lines. I want some text above, and
some text beneath. For Example:
R1*10_\markup{\roman "Tacet"}^"10"
R1*10^"10"_\markup{\roman "Tacet"}
In both cases, only the first text script gets displayed.
